Born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens by the Taylor family, he reunited with seven siblings in 2020 after receiving his original birth certificate. Their memories helped him come to know his mother, who had died before the reunion. A husband and father of two, Jason writes about identity, grief, healing, and belonging while honoring both the family who raised him and the family he found.
